Aakash is India's first very low cost tablet.It was designed by the students of IIT and manufactured by Datawind company.The Aakash runs on Android 2.2(Froyo).It is powered by ARM 11 366MHz processor.It is enabled with Wifi and includes 2100 mAh battery.Its screen size is 7inch with 256MB RAM and 2GB internal memory,expandable upto 32GB.The price of this tablet is about Rs.2,500.Theis is also a upgraded version of this tablet called Ubislate 7 which comes with additional features like Android 2.3 OS,700MHz processor,3200 mAh battery with price tag of Rs.2,999.
